FASTSMS wins contract for Flora London Marathon

In a continuing partnership, David Pride announced today that FASTSMS will be used by the London St. John Ambulance Service to coordinate its volunteers at the Flora London Marathon. With more than 40,000 runners taking part, the organization of such an event is a marathon in itself. This year St Johns will have more than 150 volunteers manning some 30 medic stations along the 26.2 mile route. All of these volunteers will be in contact with their HQ, based in Horseguards Parade, via the FASTSMS text messaging system.

David Pride, Business Manager for FASTSMS said, “We have an established partnership with The St. John Ambulance service and have been their chosen communications provider at several large events since 2003.
