SMS text messages within your browser or on your PC desktop
FASTSMS also provides facilities for sending and receiving
text messages by email.
And remember wherever in the world you are,
you can send and receive text messages provided you have access
to email.
You can send a 160 character text message
to any mobile phone from within any email client, including
Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Eudora, AOL and Pegasus
using the following format.
Enter the recipient's number in the "To"
field of your email message composer. The number must be formatted
as, 447890123456@email2sms.fastsms.co.uk, where 07890 123456
is the mobile number you want to text.

Enter who the message is from in the subject
of the email message (This is the message label that appears
on the recipient’s handset and must be no longer than 11 alpha
numeric characters).

The message body of the email must be in
plain text format & include your username on the first
line, password on the second line and sms message on the third.

Once complete send the message as you would
a normal email message.
This email will be received immediately as a text message
by the phone specified.
The email2sms service is also perfectly suited
to automated applications such as server failure notification,
environmental alert systems and personnel alerts. For examples
of this type of use please view our case studies pages. For
