Outlook Mobile Service was released by Microsoft in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 but removed from Outlook 2013 for reasons that have never been explained.

Outlook Mobile Service enables users to link their Outlook email client to the Fastsms SMS messaging service. This integrates SMS functionality alongside email functions so that text messages can be sent and received in much the same way as your email.

For versions of Outlook other than 2007 and 2010 the options are to use our general purpose Email to SMS solution or to access our messaging platform, NetMessenger, through a browser.

Outlook Mobile Service is the new feature in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 that allows you to create and send text messages as well as multimedia messages to a mobile device from within Outlook in the same way you would email messages.
