Comprehensive glossary of SMS terminology and jargon.

Like many other areas of technology SMS text messaging has its own jargon and buzz-words, usually employed by technicians to make their area of activity seem mysterious and more complex than it really is.

This FASTSMS SMS Glossary aims to counter this by explaining the most common terms in use in everyday language in an attempt to make it easier for all involved to send SMS messages online – which is after all what this is all about.

If you come across a term you don’t understand please leave a comment and we will try to add an explanation to the glossary.
