It’s been a year of change here at fastsms. And all of it was good. There probably aren’t too many things you can say that about, but it’s true. We’ve moved offices, added account managers, won more awards, and are excited about next year. But I’m going too fast. Let’s slow down, take a look at the year, and see what our Operations Director, Sandy Burt has to say about it.
The Big Move
The biggest change for us this year is the opening of our new office in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. It’s a light, bright, and airy space. Sandy says, “This [office] has given us a much better environment to operate from and with more resource we can service our customers even better”.
But while the new location is a positive change, Sandy also said “The biggest challenge for fastsms this year, from my perspective, has been bringing the new office and account management team online”. You can imagine a lot of work and planning went into the move, and into hiring more account managers.

Growing The Team
We believe in only the highest quality of service. As our customer base has grown, we’ve added new account managers so we can maintain our high customer satisfaction levels. It’s been an exciting process and we’re giving each one of them a chance to introduce themselves on our blog.
The first one out is Jordan Russell. He came to us from HSBC and uses his experience there as a Relationship Manager to understand and support our fastsms customers. You can find out more about him in the full interview in this blog. Keep an eye out for more team interviews and announcements in the coming months.
We see every day how fastsms is growing and providing a needed service to businesses and organisations. But it’s always nice when someone else takes notice too.
For the second year in a row, Corporate Vision Magazine awarded us two accolades. The first is SMS Service Provider of the Year – UK and the second is Best SMS Business Platform – UK.
Our Marketing Director, Oliver Burt said, “It’s great for the entire team to get the recognition for the hard work that continues to go into supporting our customers, and making sure that they have a product that suits their needs”.
NetMessenger, our web-based SMS solution is our flagship product used by most of our customers. But we also have many customers deciding to integrate into their systems using our API. However our customers use our services, they always receive the same personal support from their account managers and our development team if needed. After such a change and award-filled year, what might 2017 bring? You might think we’ll be focusing on more awards or recognition. But Sandy said it best when asked about what we’re looking forward to most next year:
“The new account managers have integrated well with the existing team and systems and have started getting to know their clients. I’m really looking forward to watching their experience and relationships with their clients develop over the next year”.
For us it’s about people, relationships, and providing the best support possible to each customer. That’s what gets us excited when we think about the new year. We’ll continue to offer great service and products that help anyone using SMS messaging.
