TO EMAIL
As well as enabling you to send and receive SMS text
messages within your browser or on your PC desktop FASTSMS
also provides facilities for sending and receiving text
messages by email. This means that you can archive text
messages along with normal emails to create a consolidated
archive of all messaging. It works along with the web
based control panel so a single pool of credits can
be used for both. And remember wherever in the world
you are you can send and receive text messages provided
you have access to email.

You
can send a 160 character text message to any mobile
phone from within any email client, including MS-Outlook,
MS-Outlook Express, Eudora, AOL or Pegasus. Once we
have set you up with a username and password all you
do is send a mail to 44770123456@email2sms.fastsms.co.uk
(assuming 077123456 is the mobile number you want to
text) including your sender ID in the subject line (your
name or a reply number) and your FASTSMS username and
password as the first 2 lines of the email body plus
a message of up to 160 characters. This will be received
immediately as a text message by the phone specified.
There is a NO setup charge and all you need is a FASTSMS
web based account with some credits available.

To receive text messages from mobile
phones as email all you need is a reply-to number to
which we link the email of your choice. So assuming
your number is 0778 812345 and your nominated email
is me@mydomain.com then any text sent to 0778 812345
will be forwarded as an email to me@mydomain.com. All
you need to do is to buy a reply-to number at £75
per annum + VAT and have a FASTSMS web based account.
